Mano en Mano is seeking volunteer educators to provide instructional and/or support services to students enrolled in the Maine Migrant Education Program (MEP). Services will be related to students' educational goals, and volunteers will work closely with the MEP staff member assigned as their supervisor, to connect with students and develop a plan for providing services. Services may include: one-on-one or small group tutoring and homework help, language and literacy classes, and transportation or other supports to access available community resources. By developing meaningful relationships with the students they work with, MEP Volunteers are able to contribute to students' educational growth and success.

Mano en Mano provides services to MEP students throughout the state of Maine. Volunteers are needed to work with students in or near the following areas: Portland, Lewiston, Brunswick, Clinton, Milbridge, Machias, Indian Township, Pleasant Point.

MEP Volunteers must have a driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle.
